Coach Miles educates Greg McElroy on ESPN Car Wash today....Now UPDATED w/ VIDEO

So I recorded all of these ESPN shows today featuring Les (thanks Dandydon for the schedule), including one called Numbers Never Lie, hosted by Michael Smith, Danny Kannell, and Greg McElroy.
At the end of the routine lame segment with the usual media talking points, including the riveting topics such as his love of eating grass and "the clap", Les kind of interrupted the sign off and said, while leaning forward and staring down McElroy the entire time, completely unsolicited.....
"I want to give you one point too, about winning. Winning is a thing that is inherent to how you were raised. It is something you carry with you for a lifetime. And to pretend that it is brought, or deposited, at a place.....and left.....it is not.
It is always carried on by those participants and people that are there. PERIOD. (Just, in/end discussion)."
That was a clear shot at McElroy, who sat there with a deer in the headlights smile on the entire time, who recently made the comments about Saban's long term influence on the continued tradition of winning at LSU.
At the very end he shook hands with all three hosts and told McElroy "congratulations on a great career"
Don't have a link, but maybe someone can track one down on ESPN.com.
Great work as always Coach!!!
fearthehat:
ETA: Changed the quote at the end, but honestly can't tell if it's "in discussion", per LSUTigers1986, or "end discussion" per idoubleu. Perhaps TD can decide.
Sorry that the "End of discussion" has already gone widespread (posted on Dandydon this morning).
Regardless, glad to see Coach getting the praise he deserves from Tiger Nation for defending the hard work that goes into his program, with class.

Daaaamn. Miles isn't one to get pissed off very often, but when he does, he'll do it with a wink and a handshake, and you'd better look the frick out.

Well what McElroy said was a HUGE shot at Les. Completely dissed everything he's done for the last 9 years at LSU.
RA'ed for sticky.
