Actually I would argue that your above statement is entirely more racist than the OP.

That aside, I don't think voting should be "rich vs poor".

Although if the majority of your income is government benefits (aka: Taxpayer costs), then I'm not sure how you should have equal say as someone who is actually contributing to society.

I don't own property (more specifically real estate), so why should I be able to vote on the raising/lowering of property tax?

Why should a family receiving food stamps, welfare, completely subsidized healthcare, etc... be able to say "Hell yeah, I vote to increase that"?
