Yea, I'm pretty sure they have had the "T-WING" for a while now. I remember seeing a Diawa at Academy several months ago with the "T-wing" on it.

Agreed. Abu garcia has the level-wind that moves with the spool as you cast which effectively reduces any harsh angles associated with the level wind during casting.

Seems like this t-wing is a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist.

say wha? I have the Revo Inshore and has level wind but doesn't do this.

I was just saying it wasn't breaking news or "changing the baitcaster game". Ever seen a US reel super caster? That creates damn near zero friction when casting. Only thing Diawa did was create less friction. Don't get your panties in a twist kid

I have a couple of those purdy red//black Daiwa reels.

First thing I had to do was replace the handles. Those offset paddles hit my knuckles when reeling.

Oh, and they aren't worth what they cost. I use 'em, but much prefer my Calcuttas.
