My wife thinks the exact opposite

Really? I've always loved it,love the fabric, love the look. Every woman I know adores it. I assumed it was ingrained in our DNA .

Unfortunately, no matter how much I have tried my husband won't touch it.

I've been trying to find a gray seersucker suit instead of the usual light blue. They're scarcer than rich people with self-awareness.

My wife's response to seersucker.

quote:

honestly, you either look like you s ing in a barbershop quartet, or like you are auditioning for the colonel w/ KFC.

I honestly think it looks a little childish.

and if I were still single, and some dude came to pick me up in a seer sucker suit, I'd probably write him off as a total frattastic douche face and never see him again

Personally, i think it makes grown men look like chidren, and young adults look like they are trying their hardest to be pretentious.

FWIW, i have friends that wear it. They are good people, i just despise the look. It's the opposite of the strong male look, IMO.
