Stopped and drove a guy to a gas station. Paid for his gas. Brought him back to his truck.
It was around 430 in the afternoon and he looked very hot.

Bragging about doing something self-less removes the self-less aspect. It shows that you then did it for publicity.
Also, Scruffy is not wowed by your "self-less" acts. What you did is the equivalent to people giving money to kickstarters, like how that bus driver lady got 1000s of dollars because some kid picked on her. Hand out $20, pat yourself on the back, and then go about your business like you've made some big difference in the world.
Sorry if that sounds harsh. Been stuck inside all day and want to lash out at someone.
