Who is this player? Costa would have been nice, but he offers none of the build-up play to bring others into the play that we get with Giroud, and have had with Van Persie, Adebayor, and Henry. What we need is a player who is mobile, strong, technical, and can be both a targetman and a poacher. Welbeck fits the bill if he can improve his technique and his ability to bring others into the play, as well as his finishing ability.

If Giroud continues this run of form for the rest of the season and in to next season it is hard to think of many better CF's out there that fit Arsenal as well as he does.
