I just slow down, never really stopped.

If people learned to merge like normal human beings those lights wouldn't be necessary. Instead we have a city full of dipshits that do 30 mph and try to merge into 70 mph traffic then hit the brakes when they can't get in causing the ramp to backup.

I blame the interstate ramp speed limit signs. They tell people to enter the interstate at lower than interstate speeds.
