The think most clubs like that don't get is just how easy it is to take a disproportionate amount of 1.5 year old bucks. they are the easiest animal on the property to kill.

Pretty much all of our 1 1/2 year old deer are spikes.
We don't shoot many of them any more.
It's not a rule, but it's usually always kids that shoot spikes.
Now, if I get a spike in front of me while bow hunting, I will likely shoot him.
IF I even get to bow hunt this year.
