OKlahoma, Ohio State - 5
LSU, FSU, Texas, So Cal - 4
Florida, Miami, Oregon, Auburn - 3
VT, Nebraska, Michigan, TCU, Stanford - 2
Cinci, Micihgan State, Colorado, Georgia, N Dame, K State, Washington, Ok State, Penn State - 1

If the playoff existed I think we get in in 2010. No way we drop that arky game if we still have NC hopes

Possibly, if an objective based system were employed.
However, the four playoff teams are going to be selected by a biased, subjective committee. Even if we had won against Arkansas in 2010, Auburn was already in - as such, the committee would have likely selected a one loss Stanford or Ohio State so that the field would be more "diverse" and "equitable".
This scenario will inevitably surface again in the near future. 2-3 teams will be undefeated, and then there will be a collection of around four or five teams each with one loss.
Fans will be begging for the BCS within a few years.

I said when I first heard about this ridiculous system that before its over people will be begging for the Old BCS set up.
