Starz have picked up the TV rights to Neil Gaiman's novel American Gods
I. AM. SO. EXCITED.
Neil Gaiman is far and away my favorite writer.
I randomly picked up Neverwhere off the shelf in a B&N back in high school and fell IN LOVE. It's still one of my favorite novels ever. I even have the BBC mini-series of it on DVD and it's cheesily awesome.
Neil Gaiman works I own:
Complete 1-75 run of Sandman - each copy bagged and boarded.
Complete 1-10 graphic novel version of Sandman - for reading.
Signed 1st Edition of American Gods
Signed 1st Edition of Anansi Boys
1st Edition of Neverwhere
1st Edition of Fragile Things (short story collection
1st Edition of Smoke and Mirrors (short story collection)
Stories: All New Tales (Short stories)
Stardust
Good Omens
The Graveyard Book
Coraline
The Ocean at the End of the Lane
Wolves in the Walls
Mr. Punch (graphic novel)
Violent Cases (Graphic novel)
Black Orchid (graphic novel)
Books of Magic (graphic novel)
Death: High Cost of Living (graphic novel)
Death: Time of Your Life (graphic novel)
Endless Nights (graphic novel)
Marvel 1602 (graphic novel - really awesome look at what it would be like if the Marvel universe began happening in the year 1602)
Geez...should I just say "everything"? I've missed some of his stuff through the years, though, I know.
I already mention I have the Neverwhere BBC mini-series DVDs. I also have Coraline and Mirrormask and Stardust on DVD.
I also just got this sexy new hardcover biography with pictures and stuff called "The Art of Neil Gaiman".
I. fricking. Love. Neil. Gaiman.
