Sixty grand in Portland seems like a stretch. It's not super expensive, but isn't cheap, and taxes are much higher, though none on sales. Washington has no income tax, working in Oregon I assume you would be subject to Oregon income tax! no?
You can live a decent life, but I wouldn't be giving up Florida for that wage unless there is big growth potential.

I wouldn't be living in Portland. Portland is right on the border of OR and WA, and I would be right across the river on the WA side.
I also think there is a lot more room for professional growth that comes with this offer. It's a much bigger company than where I'm at now, with international offices.
