Make the move man Portland is an awesome city. I live in the Bay Area but Portland is on my short list of cities I want to move to.
Lots of good microbrews, fun place to be in your 20s
Cons:
Clouds and rain suck. It's a different type of rain than you get in the southeast. A constant drizzle for hours/days.
People are a bit more liberal.
