the spurs looked like your typically strong finals team in games 1 and 2

in games 3-5, they were on another level. their shooting and passing was seriously mind-blowing, looking back

Spurs entire postseason run was historic. All 4 wins v heat and blazers by 15+, 3 by 17+ v okc and game 7 blowout v dallas

Yep. Still take the 2001 Lakeshow as the GOAT at their peak. They closed out the season on a 23-1 run I believe. Only loss was when Iverson went berserk with 48 points in game 1 of the finals and I really think LA was overconfident in that first game after destroying the entire western conference including a very good Kings team that took them to 7 games the year before.

I feel like pop had a double secret play book that they spent all year developing for the heat that they didn't use until the finals
