Are the new Ram's that bad? I recently test drove a new Ram, a Ford Ecoboost, and a Silverado.
The Ram was the best ride of all 3.
The Chevy was ok, just not a big fan of the interior.
The Ecoboost was nice, power wise it felt closer to my old Tundra than any of the others, didn't like the ride though. It was a used FX4 and the interior looked like it had been beat to hell, the truck only had 20K miles too. Makes me question the quality.

I'll probably get a new truck at the end of the year or early next year. Right now it's between the Ram or going back to the Tundra.

The new Ram's have rear independent suspension. The ride is quite nice. I still couldn't pull the trigger though. Too much distrust of them still.

That old 318 though. You couldn't kill it.

New Rams are great, people are just leery of Chrysler. But the new Rams and Jeep GCs, dating back to 2011, are pretty well liked, so I probably wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger.

Go Tundra.

It has plenty of power, it has tons of room on the inside (crew cab) and it looks good. I have had one for 6 years now and I still like my truck. I used to be a Ford guy...until I bought my Tundra.
