That's how my dad does it, too. He can have jet lag and sleep on the plan for 45 minutes, yet he can't sleep more than 7 hours in a night.

I took after my mom in the sense that I can sleep 12-14 hours in the right situation.

i don't think i've ever slept 14 hours and have only hit 12 when i went like 2-3 days getting 3-5 in a row and my body gives up

Me too.

My husband is the kind who wakes up by 7:00 AM no matter what. If we don't have anywhere to be, me and both our kids can sleep 14-16 hours.

It drives him crazy.

That may be the reason I haven't picked an international team.
