I may have misheard this, but I believe I read a report that Minnesota is more isolated than any other NBA city. Someone used it as a talking point for why the Wolves do well at home and poor on the road beyond what you'd expect for similar teams.



I'm not against the Twin Cities at all. I'm sure they're great. I've spoken to a current NBA player that says no one wants to go to Minnesota or Utah unless the money is just insanely great. Those February games, waking up and scraping ice off your windows in negative 20 weather are tough. If it was a summer sport it'd be an easier sell.
