It's a good tipoff that you aren't dealing with some hardened criminal or someone that will be a big issue when they have zero idea how to put their hands in order for the cops to put the cuffs on

I've been cuffed a few times and have two college degrees and didn't know what the hell he was saying. I probably would've stopped and asked what the F he wanted me to do.

Exactly. The guy could barely get words out of his mouth...it was like he pulled over a dragon.

The trooper was terrified from the moment he looked into the vehicle and saw the size (and we can speculate on the other aspects) of the driver he pulled over. The question then becomes...did Sam get that handcuffed treatment based on what he did (I'm assuming this trooper pulls over speeders doing 20 over from time to time...are they all cuffed and arrested immediately?) or was it solely because he was terrified because Sam was so much larger? As a big guy myself, I'm waiting to hear one of our residents LEO's step in and say that's the reason, so I can get more pissed.

As soon as Sam stepped out of the vehicle, it was clear he wasn't high/drunk and he was yes sir'ing him while wearing slacks and a freaking polo. The only threat he posed was potential for being so much larger. Would that allow most female officers to cuff most met any time they pull them over for simply being larger and potentially a threat regardless of their actions?

Kudos to Sam for handling that WAY better than I imagine I would have. And kudos to the department.
