I, on the other hand, am rather amused by you. This is the kind of trolling I can appreciate

I both agree and disagree with the OP to a certain extent.

First the disagreement:

A major error that many Christians and the Religious Right make especially in the pro-life and anti gay stances they have is that they make the issue a political one imho. Nowhere that I'm aware of in the Bible does it tell us to go out and eradicate sin in the lives of others or browbeat gays or those that support or have abortions. You can pray that supporters of both will have their eyes and hearts opened and will repent from their stance but that is totally up to God. As a Christian you should have recognized by now that the fact that abortion still exists is because the Almighty has allowed it exist. He doesn't need you to help Him stop something He is perfectly capable of stopping. This is what irks me about the religious right. They focus on the symptoms of sin rather than the cause. I'm not a Bible thumper but I've read and studied enough of it to know that you and me are no less inherently sinful than the most abortion and gay loving progressive in God's eyes. The Bible teaches that EVERYONE has a sin nature that is the problem. This is why I find the gay bashing and pro choice bashing so pointless. While I think both are wrong, they are no more wrong than plenty of shortcomings in our lives. I think it's way past due that Christians and more specifically the "religious right" start including themselves as being just as "sinful" in their own ways than singling out certain groups. I think the church has been severely damaged by this harmful misguided approach of getting so politically involved when the calling has always been to simply share the gospel and let God plant that seed in those he chooses to.

Now the agreement:

The Bible very clearly states that both abortion and homosexuality are sins. I do wish progressives would at least acknowledge this very clear truth. You can choose not to believe the Bible and think it's a silly "fairy tale" but at least show some level of intellectual honesty and acknowledge what it clearly teaches. Also be intellectually honest enough to admit that abortion is the murder of a developing infant human being. As long as it's legal women should have reasonable access to it but don't pretend like it doesn't end a developing baby's life. It may be legal but it's legalized infanticide.
