RIght now i see it as a more overall view of the world after the event than focusing in on individual characters. I think the show is doing a great job so far

Last night's episode was fantastic IMO. Even though it's only three episodes in, the first two didn't really give the audience anyone to really connect with, just a cop who has a wife and son at two opposite ends and a daughter who is going through the same thing as her father but coping differently. It's interesting but there's no empathy there. Last night I had to shut my eyes while the priest was gambling because I really did not want to see him lose. Then when the thugs tried to steal his money he did what I hoped he would do and smashed that dude's head in. But it was kinda cliche to see the whole incorruptible become corrupt.

the entire third episode was devoted to the preacher.
