Also bad for taxpayers when the state school chooses to give the tax revenue income from a major game to a city in Texas. Even if they get a guaranteed payday from a game in Arlington or Houston (we don't get any revenue from tickets, tv or concessions), two neutral site games have a comparable payout to a major OOC home game.

What's bad is that there is a massive amount of local and state tax revenues generated by an LSU home game and we're basically giving that to Texas by playing games there.

I could give a frick about giving tax revenue to the state of Louisiana until they amend the constitution.

LSU athletics are giving $36 million back to the university and do not receive state funding.
