I completely agree with your post, good to see us moving forward and Jindal not squashing something because some baptist got their feelings hurt. I also disagree with the bolded part but small victories are progress in the anti progress state.

Yep. You take what you can get in a state like this. I don't drink but I'm happy for my fellow moviegoers who will now be able to enjoy a luxury like this.
