Yep, if you value the former husband as a friend more than the guy who told you this, it's your obligation to tell him. If you value the other guy more, prepare to lose your other friend forever. With this information, you are at a crossroads and need to evaluate whose friendship you treasure more.

This.
IMO, friend 2 is an a-hole for a.) sexing friend 1's ex and b.) telling you about it.
Friend 2 sounds like a shitty human being. I would cut bait with him and tell friend 1 what happened.
