I don't see how anyone could not like Sushi Masa. You can get as many specialty rolls as you want (and they are damn good), all the sushi/sahimi you want, plus all the sides (pepper tuna, tuna tataki, dumplings, potstickers, katsu, various salads, teriyaki, fried rice, lo mein, plus numerous other items), all freshly made to order, not to mention dessert, plus a free drink, all for under $15.

Only bad thing about the place is that the service is sometimes lacking. Other then that, it's hard to beat.

And for the record, Hello Sushi is at the bottom of the BR sushi totem pole.

Literally, the only reason I didn't go there is their location. I didn't think I would have enough time to enjoy it after spending 20 minutes crawling down that stretch of Essen only to have to crawl right back afterwards.

I honestly got scared away from Sushi Masa because there were threads here saying people were charged for every bite they didn't eat. I'd be scared to get full and not eat it all.
Now, a friend of mine works there and another acquaintance is the GM, so I am sure I'll be in soon.

I do intend to try it, and I haven't heard anything negative about the quality.
