Fishing near Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

The wife has me going to the beach this weekend to a place on Santa Rosa. Does anyone know of any good fishing down there that I could try? I have no idea about surf fishing along there or if there is some structure nearby. We won't be bringing the boat so I'm limited. Any ideas?

Charter a morning trip out of Grayton if you want to bottom fish.
The lakes have reds and trout in them. You could rent paddleboards out of Watercolor and fish a ton of shoreline. Look at that lake on Google, it goes all the way behind Grayton.

My buddy's uncle has a house on the sound, and he just said they catch the most fish straight off of the piers. His uncle's pier goes out 120 yards into the sound though

It gets deep quick in that area. Rent a kayak and you can catch snapper, king, mahi a mile out.
