Because a lot of them are being ignorant. I understand soccer isn't appealing to a lot of people, and that's fine. But there are people that feel the need in every soccer thread to talk about how much of a pussy queer sport it is. We get it, you don't like the sport, no reason to be a douche about it (not talking about you, just some of the other tards like the idiot on page 1).
That being said there are a lot of huge soccer fans that have been trying to ram it down everyone's throat.
I guess I fall somewhere in the middle. I like the world cup and wouldn't mind watching it more often, I just don't have a team to follow and have no idea how to go about picking a team.

I'm the same way. I love the World Cup and will watch most the national games, but I struggle with just picking a random team overseas to cheer for.
