There are def soccer fans with a chip on their shoulder. They're kind of like beer snobs, trying to make you believe that every match is the GOAT sporting event of all time, like this hoppy shite blueberry beer is exquisite. I like soccer because I started watching in the 90s and I have a really good friend from Birmingham U.K. who is an Aston Villa supporter. We are going to do a home and home, villa park and Tiger stadium.

I've given soccer a number of honest chances. I really want to like it but it just doesn't do it for me. Like many though, I will watch and cheer on the US in the World Cup and Olympics. And hell, I even got excited a few times during the Portugal game.

I'll never be a huge fan of watching soccer (I like to play it, though), but I will yell my fool head off for the USMNT/USWNT because I honestly want them to do well.

Basketball and hockey are more "beautiful games" to me, though.
