Unless I'm reading the tie breakers wrong in this situation the U.S. would advance. The U.S. and Portugal would each have 4 points but the U.S. would advance based on goal differential.

My apologies. In my post I meant if the U.S. loses by one and Ghana WINS by one, it's not a guarantee we advance. So that chart was still wrong, but so I was I because of my bad wording.
