I can tell you that there are several schools that do this 1 credit hour pass/fail class as pre-req. USFSP's MBA (AACSB) is 2nd ranked in the state of Florida and it has 8, not 4 pre-req classes that you are required to take in order to start taking MBA classes. UL of Lafayette's new MBA program has no pre-reqs, the GMAT is waiverable and it is also AACSB. This is becoming the trend. As someone said, "sink or swim". If you struggle, drop the class and take the one credit hour pre-req and comeback. I can see both sides of this issue though.
