A draw in the Germany/Ghana game did not hurt the US. it gave us a chance to advance with a win yesterday. If we had won we'd be looking at thursday only needing a win or a draw to WIN the group. Had Germany won against Ghana we'd be two points down on Germany rather than level with them as we are now.

Ummm...
We'd be through had Germany one (assuming Portugal didn't beat Ghana 4-0 or some crazy shite).
