I thought so too.

Then I watched him play the last two games.

Based on 2 games, he clearly sucks and is only here bc of his daddy.

Please, go watch another sport

It's alright, you just don't understand the game. Take the time to watch and learn about different positions, mainly box to box and holding midfielders, and by next world cup you wont sound like such a know nothing count.

No he has. TN Bhoy just prefers to wear his sunshine pumper shades.

First match yes, second match no.

That's definitely the first time I've been called that on this board.

Second game was better than the first, but in his two critical moments, he misses a point blank shot with no goalie and gave away the ball at midfield to lead to the game tying goal.

Eta- and he almost gave away a late game tying goal to Ghanna by trying that idiotic lob instead of just going into the corner

First game, D+.

Second game, C after the final mistake.

It's been very surprising.

I've wanted Mix to get some action in the second half of game like Portugal. If the Germany game is unfolding the same way, I do wonder if we should take out Bradley in the 65th or 70th minute for Mix, rather than Beckerman or Jones at this point.

He isnt in form. Dont think anyone can argue that. He did have a pretty good last 35 or so in that first half when the US established itself in the game.

When Portugal clogged up the middle and closed him down quickly in the 2nd half he really went south.

He was in fine form in the warm-up games. He's just choking right now. Very surprising from a guy who is usually calm under pressure and doesn't seem to be a headcase at all (unlike Jozy, Donovan, Jones, etc).

That's fair. I still think you are putting too much blame on him and overlooking a lot of other plays that could have changed the game.
I'm not saying he is not partially at fault, or that he played to his usual standards these last two games, but all this bashing of him is out of control.
I still think he does more than Dempsey, definitely on defense and more games than not on offense.

Sorry. I misread.

That shot, although easy for a world class player, he was going for power. His head was down making sure he got good contact.
People are confusing him for a striker whose job it is to score every game. He's not that type of player. He scores a lot of goals relative to his position, but he's not and never will be a finisher.

I'm sorry you couldn't understand the context of my post from one misspelled word.
I fixed it. Does that help you out? Heaven forbid some of us have a couple drinks in us and want to talk soccer.

Probably.

I've just never liked Bradley and the past two games have given me a reason to be vocal about it
