30-35 minutes at 400 on a half sheet pan works good for me
Annoying thing is cleaning the grate that seperates bacon from drippings, even when sprayed before cooking
A legit dishwasher non stick brand, or other option, would be appreciated

I like doing it in the oven too. Foil line a jelly roll pan and lay bacon flat. I usually crinkle up the foil before covering pan so it creates creases to catch the grease. Put it in a cold oven set for 425. When the oven is heated up, the bacon is ready.

I make brown sugar bacon that way.
A pack of bacon disappears pretty quickly that way.

Maybe it's my oven, but cooking bacon in the oven leaves a greasy residue in mine. The next time I cook in the oven I get smoke and it affects the flavor of what's being cooked. I'll stick with cooking it in cast iron skillet.

try cooking it on parchment paper

I put mine in a large cast iron skillet and stick the skillet in the oven. Move the bacon to a plate lined with paper towel when cooked to remove a little grease.
Perfect bacon and it keeps my skillet nice and seasoned.

Preheated at 400???? How thick is the bacon?
I put bacon on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Place it in the oven cold and let it preheat to 400. Once it beeps, let it cook for 5 minutes.
Takes 15 minutes total.
Only complaint is that the bacon can be a bit greasy due to sitting in its own grease too long but paper towels take care of it just fine.
Oven cooking is perfect because of its consistency. Once you figure out hot to cook it how you like it, you'll never go back to pan frying. Very little mess (no splattering) and every piece cooked the same.

I don't eat much bacon, anymore, but I cook it for my family once or twice a week, or so.put my bacon flat on a sheet of foil. Last night, I did a "weave" of bacon where I interlaced strips of bacon with half the bacon laid horizontal and the other half going vertical. When I was done, I used a pizza cutter to cut the bacon into squares for BLTs. The kids loved it.

It comes out crispy. No burn
Sure it is an oven performance issue
