I have both, but the LI is sitting in a box until I get a new truck. Been rolling with a V1 for 15 years so far, and still love it. The arrows are what puts it above the rest.

Fwiw, I don't use it in New Orleans because the cops never shoot radar here. I used it in BR all of the time. In fact, just caught LSP hitting people with instant-on the other day on the spillway. Slowed down and was good.

It is true that you have to learn how to listen to it though. Some random guy who gets one will be jamming on the brakes every two seconds, but I can discern what I need to slow down for.

They are pieces of shite and don't work for anything. Aren't even a good radar detector in the first place. They don't jam anything, it is all marketing. Don't even waste your time looking at them. Chalmette Shoes is either a rep, a salesman, or straight up working for RMR.
