I do. And it's not that I don't enjoy television. It's just all very scripted. You couldn't pay me to work at a newspaper.
If I wanted to do broadcasting I"d choose talk radio (preferably sports) because it's much more laid back/conversational.

I started out as a print journalism major and realized all of the "guest speakers" we had didn't graduate in that.
So I said screw it and went the easy way out with an English - Literature degree.
Now, I work in Marketing..
Your best bet is to do proposal writing for the government if you think you can handle the workload.
