Can anyone recommend a good general physician somewhere in the Mandeville/Covington area?

I use Dr. Tim Riddell at the Ochsner Covington location.
Really nice guy, and takes patient input well.

Tania Levi is great. If you want to be in the Ochsner system, that's different, but know that if you chose an Ochsner PCP they will really refer you completely inside of Ochsner. So, do alot of homework on your own when it comes to specialists.

Collectively here on the OT we are pretty sharp; tell us your symptoms (including graphic pictures, we're all adults here) and we can reach a consensus on a recommended therapy.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

You should consider a good Optometrist. Hell, they can do just about anything now anyway. Have you thought about this option?
