Even for that little bit of insurance, the insurance companies might not pay up with her being a potential suspect.
However my guess is the state will have a difficult time proving intent (seriously because he just doesn't look the type to kill a child), so they will just go after only him and never press charges to the mother.

I have no idea what to make of this case. CNN has pretty much declared him guilty but nothing else makes sense. I remember when my baby was 2 yrs old. I thought about her every 10 mins and would check on her multiple times a day.

With the mother or father? Did you see what this guy was searching on the internet prior to this murder?
