They asked why and I told them I had a phone and if I wanted to know how someone was doing I'd call them or they'd call me. That was the end of that conversation

Did you get the gig?

Just me, but I wouldn't offer you a job with that type of response. Not that it is wrong, but it sends a combative/ rebel/ my shite don't stink vibe in today's world. I almost depsise to answer my phone and don't want to bother others on the phone unless absolutely necessary. Maybe I am the odd one, but the response would bother me in that setting.

While I have a FB account I prefer to either text/email someone first, then call, before using fb.

I don't really even use my fb account a lot.

The principal I work for trolls facebook looking for someone to f'up. Admins even tell us that FB can get you in a jam quickly in relation to your employment, so don't post any crazy shite.

How old are you?

Someone that is over that age of 50 or so would probably see someone not having social media as a plus. Those are usually the people doing the hiring, so I'd cater to them.

are you a dude?

How in the world do you find that answer to be combative? Your judging this based on your own personal issues and possible insecurities. With a attitude like that I doubt anyone wants to work with you.
