Marketing is really impressive. I own a GoPro Hero 3 and the whole thing is very MEH. When cellphones are 100% waterpoof (there already?), the whole business will tank.

No they won't. Camera is way better, way more features and more duable.

I don't know what kind of camera you have on your phone but the video from a go pro crushes my iPhone 5s. Gopros biggest down fall for me is without great lighting the video quality degrades substantially and when in the waterproof case it doesn't do a great job of picking up sound.
But the skiing videos we had were breathtaking.
