I bet they have him go with Tyrion, and just separate them at the brothel. Then he, Aegon, and Connington go back to Westeros, and Varys still has time to kill Kevan.

Just remember Book 4 & Book 5 run concurrently. So while there may not be WTF moments in 4, there could be in 5 while you are reading about the others.
