Jesus Christ, there's so much repair work going on right now (and has been for the last couple of years) wouldn't be able to move if there was more. Plus, there were tons of visible, tangible upgrades for the last Super Bowl.

I'm working downtown this summer and it is bitch driving around right now with all the road work.

Most of that is funded by the federal government flood project. Mitch even said a couple of weeks ago that they couldn't afford lights for the avenue.
