The whole show has become one pity party by the contestants.
Oh I'm here because I was abused as a child and fed toothpaste growing up. I want to win the money so I can move out of my box underneath the interstate

One I just watched the guy said my dad gave me money to start my restaurant I would love to pay him back... Then when asked he was like I want to go see my sister in the Olympics. The producers push that crap on the contestants.

I am glad you said that. My fiancé mentioned it a while ago and we agreed that we are tired of all these sobb stories. I understand its draw in certain viewers but it really just aggravated me.
Why is it necessary that I know you used to eat out of a dumpster? It doesn't make you more deserving than anybody else.

I don't pay much attention to the sob stories. I want to know where they're from and from what restaurant, if they're working for one. I always watch it on the DVR, so I ff through some of it.
