Whoa... things are getting serious in Mississippi. LINK

"Shale Lodge’s location is situated in a 245 +/- acre master planned industrial park having immediate interstate access to I-55 and John E. Lewis Field (Pike County Public Airport). The park is currently under final planning stages and will be supported with a 5,200 LF flexible paved roadway, water service, sewer service, and telecommunications infrastructure. This park will be geared towards the oil and gas service industries for office accommodations and laydown yard locations along with Shale Lodge a crew lodge for the oilfield companies operating in the region. Shale Lodge will be situated on an outlaying 40 acre parcel. We master planned this community to adapt to the influx of workers in this play. Phase I is scheduled for 240 beds and Phase IIA will have an additional 296 beds. All phasing will be supported with public sewer, public water (domestic and fire), onsite dining hall(s), onsite laundromat, guest parking and tractor/trailer parking accommodations. Our lodge will include managed facility services and will offer onsite ground maintenance, housekeeping and a fully equipped staffed buffet style dining for our guests. Shale Lodge is currently scheduled to open Phase I by January 1, 2015."

Have a feeling there will be quite a few things like that built in the south very soon.

There goes the neighborhood. Woodville and St. Francisville are next. Their children will certainly thank them for their greed.

Will this worker camp be as fancy as their website?

They apparently learned how to use the gradient tool in Mississippi.
