re: "flopping" in sports (any sport) - should their be a "realtime" official

Make it a foul. Hockey has a rule for "embellishment". Even if its a legit penalty, the flopper goes to the penalty box as well. Soccer is supposed to give yellow cards for flopping under the regulation against cynical play, but I've never seen it actually called.

Don't go with fines, make it a foul. A technical for flopping would be a great attempt.

Great in theory but I don't like the refs having to make the decision. I'd prefer it to be done by review after games.

Fines should also enjoy in terms of missed time IMO, whether it starts by missing a quarter, then going to a game or multiple games or however.

On a separate note, I still fail to see how flopping is so much different than a baseball or football player trapping a ball and coming up pretending that he caught it.

I've seen a couple called in BPL. Pretty sure Suarez was called for one this season.
