What do you think of Jindal's reversal on Common Core??

Seems once national republicans started blasting Common Core the political animal Jindal changed positions leaving White and Roemer out to dry.
I guess if some loud conservatives had supported it Jindal would have but in typical fashion he goes the way of the wind.
Is it good or bad??
Is there an issue that you believe Jindal will not change his position on for political purposes??

They would be eligible if they distributed them on "national" media which could be the most obscure network you can imagine.
Aren't you proud your state does that?

Can't think of one off the top of my head. Coincidentally, I was just thinking about this very subject this morning. Jindal is so transparent (not in a good way) that it's a joke.

I honestly do believe he would change parties to get a higher office.

That would indicate that you have critical thinking problems. Jindal is a conservative. Support or opposition to Common Core is not a defining left/right issue. Neither is being for or against film tax credits.
Switching sides on an issue for political gain would be like Al Gore switching from pro life while running in Tenn. then switching to pro choice running for Pres. Abortion is a defining left/right issue.
Now, if you want an example of someone who actually would switch from GOP to Dem if he thought he could achieve higher office, I'd point to Lindsay Graham.

Of course corporate welfare is a big government thing--film tax credits, chicken plant purchases, music credits are all big government spending.
I don't know many real conservatives that would hire an out of state trial lawyer on a contingency basis to represent the state in a huge case again BP do you? He is basically giving the guy tens of millions of dollars.
I don't know any real conservatives that give HUGE, record subsidies to football and basketball team after taking campaign contributions from the members of the board of the super dome.
What about conservatives that support cronies of convicted democrat felons for state leadership like Jindal did for Alario?
Of course running the state's debt to it's highest level in history is not very conservative either is it? Or spending one time money for ongoing expenses? or building a huge state run welfare hospital? or expanding SCHIP?
Opposing the reversal of Stelly is certainly not conservative is it?
What exactly has Jindal done that is conservative???? I don't see it.
The only thing conservative about Jindal--as his record proves--is his talk.
Oh you might want to go back and check--Jindal was number 7 I believe among Congress people in earmarks his last year in Congress.
Zach you will not think critically of Jindal. You believe all the crap he says even though it just about all spin.

Welfare is giving money. Tax credits are reducing theft of money. You don't get it. You never will.
As for every other bullet point in your post.. I want context and link. I know NONE of it to be true and I think you are ashamed of your link.

Zach it is essentially out and out cash payments and that is exactly what Jindal has supported and expanded with the film tax credits, digital media credits and the live music credits.
Now don't be a dumb arse and argue that anymore. It is fact. It was more than $250 million in 2013 and it comes off the top so it is not even a budget item. In the case of films it has not limit.
All of other bullet points are true--
Jindal backs from EWE ally Alario
To see the debt thing you have to look at a lot of sources most notably the actual outstanding debt and the various unfunded retirement obligations. Look at the Jindal years here
Everybody knows about the chicken plant Bo Pilgrim's bankrupt company wanted $80 million for but was worth only twentysomething. Jindal took money from you and me to make the difference up for Bo as they sold it to Foster Farms. Do you need links? If so then give me one that says it is a lie.

a short piece on the hospital LINK
CAGW had the earmark stuff but it has been so long it is not there.
But nonetheless now you see what I said is true. You and Jindal are both conservatives in name only--CINOs

1. Your Alario link is from 2011. So, you're a Jindal stalker? Or maybe you're Moon Griffon.

No, it's not. It's tax credits. If you want to say tax credits = grants then fine, you show your stupidity.

Your link is an opinion blog by a guy with a degree in journalism. I agree, Moon, all journalists in La. hate Jindal. It's because they are all liberals.

There is nothing there that supports anything about any of your arguments.

1. Everything you said is false.
2. I'm beginning to think you are mentally retarded. But that would be rude to say. So I won't.

He was for Common Core before he was against it.

i highly doubt that's the only reason.

Believe what you want. Jindal depends on small minded supporters.

Zach, I assure you that Jindal's view of you (a poster who I like despite our disagreements) is one of condescension. The guy is a fricking a-hole and a phony. That became apparent during the first year with his bullshite "ethics reforms" that exempted his office.

Yep. And Box of Tide depends on intellectuals.
