DEVILLE, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - On June 5, 2014 at approximately 6 p.m., Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office deputies responded to Stubblefield Road area in Deville in reference to a possible burglary.
When deputies arrived, the complainant told them that the owner of the residence was killed in a motorcycle accident the previous day. He further stated that the deceased’s ex-wife, later identified as Tina Kay Richoux, 52, of Grand Isle and her new husband, identified as Ricky Joseph Richoux, 55, also of Grand Isle, were at the deceased’s residence, breaking into it.
The suspects left before deputies arrived and were unable to be located. According to witnesses, a short time later, the suspects arrived again and started loading items into the vehicle.
Deputies, who had stayed in the area, responded to the residence to find the suspects carrying items out of the residence.
When the deputies made contact with suspects, they stated they had spoken to their attorney in another parish and that he told her that she had a living willl and that she could get what she wanted. Deputies determined that a living will was not the proper document that was needed in this case.
Detectives also responded to the scene and located evidence that there was forced entry into the residence. Deputies arrested both subjects for 1 count of Simple Burglary and 1 count of Criminal Damage.
Deputies discovered Ricky Richoux was a convicted felon and he was also charged with Felon in Possession of Firearms. Tina Richoux was released on a $3750.00 bond and Ricky Richoux was released on a $6250.00 bond.

I wish someone would have burglarized her house while she was in jail waiting to make bail.
