IN
I'm thinking the little boy who got his parents eaten by the Thenns is gonna put an arrow in Ygritte's chest. "I'm the best archer in my Hamlet"
Ygritte also sniped his dad if I remember correctly.

I'm just hoping that the actual battle scenes are a lot more impressive than the stills and preview scenes.
As far as TWOW not being this year and GRRM adding another book - I'm starting to think maybe he's hit some kind or a wall or block on the story or lost his mojo on it. Certainly hope not
He has every right to write the books at his own pace but I just hope they are quality. I do sometimes wonder how many people have passed away waiting for the conclusion of the series though.

This is the most expensive episode ever produced. I expect the battle scenes to be epic - even better than the Blackwater episode. I'm just hopeful it wasn't expensive to only produce the giants and mammoths via CGI but rather because the battle is on a grand scale.
Regardless, I am very excite.

Anyone else think it's going to be going way downhill at the wall, and then the last scene will be an army showing up to save the day, they won't reveal it to be Stannis, Ygritte will get killed, the end

Should be a great episode
Does anyone else like how they portray Thorne in the show?? In the books, it's just about how much he hates Snow. I don't recall him being as big a character in the book. And he's more badass in the show IMO.

I really enjoyed last nights episode It was much better than last weeks in terms of living up to expectations.

Just finished watching this episode. Lots of liberties taken in contrast with the books but loved that they dedicated the entire episode to the defense of the Wall. Pretty damned epic if you ask me.
