ive been downloading torrents for a while now, but the main problem is that my ISP keeps throwing me emails saying that "i have exceeded my limits" or some "copyright ingframent" has been happening. i know this is all bad but ive tryed downloading the right way for that past 6 months.
i got BOLEH VPN a couple months back and latley instead of "Copyright" messages, i only been getting "i have exceeded my limit" messages. i dont know if thats better but at least the fine print dosent say copyright no more.
any way i think i forgot to connect my vpn one day and all of sudden i got this message from them yesterday saying that i have been copyrighting and i need to delete my stuff and contact them to confirm.
Ive been trying my hardest to stay away from them and i have been reading about private torrent websites and seed boxes and i need to know if this will be my solution? and if so, can anyone please invite me and explaine how it all works.

and one more thing i have spent a 1 year trial with BOLEH and i dont wanna waste no more money on any other things. can i just join a private torrent website only and will that help me out even if i dont get seedbox.

I have cox and use iptorrents (private)

I don't download a ton of stuff, maybe about 30-40 movies in the past year, but cox has never sent me anything

I look forward to what Comcast has to say. Now that I have all the channels, I probably won't torrent as much stuff. I'm pretty sure I have a data limit.

cox doesn't care, they are simply sending you an e-mail saying you should upgrade your internet because of all the activity you have.. but this is not necessary at all.

Is cox a good service provider? Seems like they are all that are available where we will be moving to in Virginia.

How about the internet as well? I see they have up to 150 MB which blows my current net out of the water at 35/5

You get the "exceeded limits" message because you exceeded your allotted bandwidth for the month. They're sending you this because you're downloading too much stuff and using too much data, not because of what you're downloading

Yep, and like another poster said above, you can ignore those.

The copyright infringement notices are more serious if you get enough of them. If you're going to use a public tracker, use a VPN. Simple as that. I received two notices about infringement from cox in a single week, and right after that, I got an IPTorrents invite and started using that tracker almost exclusively. Since then (almost a year ago), 0 warnings.

First, off limits should be illegal as the internet is not a finite resource. Second, downloading copyrighted material IS illegal. My suggestion is to subscribe to netflix/hulu.

Also so you know, I believe COX is on the six strike system, best count your letters.
