Ironically the only time I've been pulled over by a cop for no reason who then accused me of drinking was outside of Starkville on the way back from a MSU game. And his accent was thick and he also had backup.

I don't know where all these butthurt Miss St fans were. I talked to some frat guys and gave them tickets to a non Cajuns game. Also had a few conversations with some while waiting for the game.
It was probably the guy who was wearing the
"Starkville Mississippi Bitch" shirt and started making obnoxious noises any time they did anything productive.

The only time any around me caught any crap was because Wilson walked a guy and they started chanting "ball 4! Ball 4!"
We were leading at the time so proceeded to yell "scoreboard!" back at them. If that's enough to rustle their jimmies than MSU has some thin skinned fans.

Seeing how the median income for a family is roughly $10K more in Lafayette than Starkville, I'm pretty sure it's a lot nicer in Lafayette. I've never been to Starkville and never plan on going.
He's probably still mad his team got their shite pushed in last weekend

Oh I would like to say one of the salesmen I deal with is a Miss St. alum that lives in Straksville and he's one of the nicest guys around.
He likes Lafayette too and takes us out to Ruth's Chris everytime he's in town.

They have a false sense about their place in baseball hierarchy

As compared to NOLA, Lafayette folks are about as abrasive as tissue paper.

In fairness to Starkville/Columbus/West Point it's actually a pretty decent place to live for smaller communities in the southeast.

I feel like a guy from Starkville calling out any other city in America, INCLUDING Cleveland and Detroit, is basically a 65 year old hooker with boobs that drag the floor telling somebody else their cooch stinks.

Moved to Lafayette in 1975. Born in New Orleans. Went 2 semesters to LSU and transferred to USL (that was the name at the time). Will never regret deciding to make Lafayette my home. Wish the infrastructure was more advanced to handle the growth but other than that and having to take shite for being an LSU fan, no other city in Louisiana I would rather live in.

Dude from the thriving metropolis of Columbus, MS talking shite about Lafayette
I went to Columbus, MS for a wedding about 2 months ago. It's certainly no metropolis but it is pretty hoity toity. Lots of money over there from what I saw. I've never been to lafayette, but if it's anything like I imagine I can see there being some culture clash ha.

Actually not too many people in Lafayette have a cajun dialect. You have to go out into rural Acadiana for that.
Go to Mire, Bosco, Duson, Church Point, etc if you want to here some cajun talk 'cher

People in Mississippi are very good exaggerating their "wealth."

No different than South Louisiana. Hell, it was very evident during the 90's in Laffayette who actually had money.
