Every meat burger I've seen there (ordered by others in my group) has been overcooked and nowhere worth the cost.

But I've had their shrimp burger twice and thought it was great each time (and worth the $14 price). Also like the sweet potato tots, which taste as much like cheese as sweet potatoes.

F Charcoal. I tried eating their with my friends and they had some elderly couple waiting to be seated before us. They were told they had to sit upstairs, and they had no elevator to provide them....with about 30-40 open seats on the bottom floor which had not a single diner. To shite all over people like that, before they even fork out the $ for the overpriced burger-beers is unquestionably poor business. Took the old couple about 5 minutes to get up the damn stairs.

This place is getting some extremely poor word of mouth. Don't know anyone personally who has a good thing to say about it. My kids love burger joints and we frequent most of the Uptown places but we've never tried Charcoal despite the fact my kiddos go to school down the street. Threads like this will not get me there anytime soon.
