Yes the Astros have a great farm system....and each and every year the major league teams' record reflects that greatness.
The cubs are another such team....seemingly always competitive...lmao
cue the "just give it time bunch"..lol

Because they've kept them all in the farm system the past few years and have racked up high draft picks while not starting the best prospects clock.

Look what Springer is doing since they called him up, Singleton is on his way up. They're doing a smart thing

The Astros have been rebuilding their farm system for the past several years, and they now have lots of talent in the minors.

They didn't used to have a really deep farm system... but now they do. You haven't seen the results in the Majors yet because the "older" prospects are just now starting to get called up.
