So, I've been making my own fish lures for a few years. Specifically, I carve top water plugs out of cedar, mostly Lucky 13 types. Recently I've ran out, either gave them all away or fished them up. My go to color patterns where a black and white minnow and baby bass (in the picture) Looking to see what colors/patterns you guys have the most luck with. Also, working out the design on a frog and jointed lizard bodies to add to my repertoire.

Here's one of the first ones I hand painted, not the best but you get the idea.

I have enjoyed fishing with this lure since I was a kid.

I want one of every color. You are talented for sure! One of my favorite colors is sexy shad or a white, blue and chartreuse with a white belly.

Very nice-would love to try that on the smallmouths here. Beautiful painting and finish. My go-to top water is the Rebel Pop-R in the black/silver. Tiger Deacon, I caught my first "big" bass (3+ lbs)on a Devil's Horse when I was 12. That's been a long time ago, but I still have several.
